From the very beginning, we learned to understand ourselves through descriptions. I am anxious. I am not enough. I am my grief. These messages were absorbed before we were old enough to question them.
Nobody told us the most important thing: who we truly are is not found in any of those descriptions.
We are conditioned to believe our personalities, emotions, thoughts and beliefs are who we are. But they are not. Who we Truly are is stable, whole, and complete — and has never been broken. The Wake Up Process is the path to that discovery.

You are the sky.
Not the clouds.
We are all the sky — pure Awareness, vast and unchanging. The clouds are the passing display: thoughts, emotions, beliefs, even our physical bodies — all coming and going while Awareness remains.
Another way to see it: pure Awareness is the mirror. Everything that walks by — every feeling, every story — is only the reflection. The mirror is never touched by what it reflects.
At any moment, you have a choice: rest as Awareness — the mirror, the sky — or focus on the passing display. One leads to equanimity and clarity. The other keeps you caught. This is what The Wake Up Process teaches you to do. No cushion required.

At a stoplight. Before a meal. Upon waking. Short returns to Awareness, many times a day, until resting there becomes second nature.
Meet Weekly with Lisa or the Group
Each week: reading aloud together, personal inquiry, and deepening the practice of resting as Awareness — individually or in a small group.
